GLB 203 & 205 Students Present Final Projects at Project Fair

07 Jan 2025

On January 3rd, 2025, students of GLB 203 - Good Health and Well-Being and GLB 205 - Sustainable Cities and Communities showcased their end-of-term projects during a poster presentation event.

The GLB 2XX courses are an integral part of the holistic Global Courses curriculum, generally taken by second- or third-year students across all departments. Building on the foundation laid in GLB 101 and GLB 107, where students are introduced to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the GLB 2XX courses delve deeper into specific SDGs.

GLB 203 focuses on SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-Being, encouraging students to explore innovative ways to promote physical and mental health in diverse contexts.
GLB 205 centers on SDG 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities, inspiring students to develop solutions for creating inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable urban environments.
In these courses, students collaborate in multidisciplinary groups of 4-5 members, representing various academic backgrounds, to develop projects related to the course’s specific SDG focus. At the end of the semester, their hard work culminates in a poster presentation, where they share their findings, innovations, and proposed solutions.
